Matt Martin aka ‘The Fist of Steele’
After months of gruelling, war of nerves competition Matt Martin aka ‘The Fist of Steele’ from Tauranga took out the Inaugural 2006 ‘New Zealand Rock Paper Scissors Championships’ (NZRPSC) National Final held on Sunday 30/7/06 at ‘The Bog Irish Bar’ Manukau, Sth Auckland.
‘Fist of Steele’ overcame what seemed to be an unstoppable run from the Taranaki Terror and eventual runner up Ben Greaney aka ‘Hellmutt’ to secure victory & claim the title.
‘Fist’ or just plan ole ‘Steele’ to his mates, went onto to compete in the 5th annual 2006 World RPS Championships (WRPSC) in Toronto, Canada where he placed in the top eight. good on ya Fist!
