3rd place went to 2006 NZ Champ Ben Greaney AKA The Hell Mutt Experience (45pt's)

A large appreciative crowd witnessed LARGER Air Guitar action from all the finalists.

Rockin Randy Reaper, the 21 yoa right handed Aucklander, no goes onto compete in the Australian 7 New Zeland Grand Final where he placed a mighty 2nd overall.

The 2008 Air Guitar World Championships attracted a large field international competitors totalling 16 including: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, United States, Canada, Norway, Great Britain, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, South Africa, Finland, Estonia, Russia and Greece. Craig "Hot Lixx Hulahan" Billmeier from the US won the 2008 Air Guitar World Championships title.
