The 2008 NZ Air Guitar Champ is…
Michael Bancroft aka 'The Ginge Shreddor'!!
In what ill go down as one of the most
air-mazing NZ Air Guitar champs finals to date, Michael Bancroft
aka 'The Ginge Sherddor' from Albany has taken out the 2008 NZ Air
Guitar Champs held at the Vesbar, AUT Campus, Auckland. 2nd place
went to 'The Tobanator' (2002 NZ Champ) from Hawkes Bay and in 3rd place
was Matt Brennan aka 'Johnny Blade' from Auckland.
'The
Ginge Sherddor' will now represent NZ at the Australian &
New Zealand Final in Darwin, Northern Territory on Fri 30th of May 2008.
The winner of the ANZ
Final will go onto compete in the 13th
Annual
Air Guitar World Championships (AGWC),
in tropical Finland, August 2008.
